Pipe Flow Gas Flow Rate is a flowrate calculator developed by Pipe Flow Software. This application is designed to compute the gas flow rate in a pipe based on a given pressure loss, encompassing friction losses and fitting losses. It employs compressible isothermal equations to determine the gas flow rate resulting from a specified pressure differential between the initial and final points of a pipe, taking into account friction losses and fitting losses.
Engineers across more than 100 countries worldwide utilize Pipe Flow Software applications. The app offers a range of methodologies such as General Fundamental Flow, Complete Isothermal Flow, AGA, IGT, Panhandle A, Panhandle B, and Weymouth equations for calculating pressure losses. Adjustments in gas density are automatically managed using the Ideal Gas Law coupled with either a computed CNGA compressibility factor or user-specified custom compressibility.
